Position Open – Quality Program Coordinator

(Full Time)

We’re looking for looking for a full-time Quality Program Coordinator to support our mission by assuring patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance through quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI).

About the position

This position:

  • Leads QAPI initiatives and teams in collaboration with clinical management to achieve and sustain successful process improvements in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
  • Prepares agenda and minutes for QAPI meetings.
  • Demonstrates project management/leadership skills and ability to train and facilitate multidisciplinary teams in problem solving, process improvement, and development of control plans.
  • Works in collaboration with leadership to ensure Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) and other continuous quality improvement are integrated into the culture.
  • Trains leaders and teams on PDSA and other continuous quality improvement tools that will support the agency goal of empowered teams incorporating the use of process improvement tools into their daily work.
  • Analyzes data through various analysis tools to define problems and to measure over time the effectiveness and improved efficiencies gained as a result of the change management process.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Drives change in all facets of the care delivery system.
  • Develops and/or maintains reporting systems to provide timely information to management regarding compliance with key quality performance indicators.
  • Educates clinicians on QAPI initiatives and action plans to support the QAPI program.
  • Annually reviews QAPI plans and policies, provides regular reporting to management, teams, and governing body.
  • Facilitates the development of the post-survey Plan of Correction.
  • Supports the QA program as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Is based out of our office in Evergreen with possible remote options.
  • Occasionally travels to homes throughout the foothills of Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson, and Park counties to provide patient care when needed.
  • Has a salary range of $33.50 – $40.50 per hour with access to a full benefits package.

About you

You must (required):

  • Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Maintain an active Nursing license in the State of Colorado.
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years current clinical experience .
  • Have knowledge of study design principals (PDSA), including intervention strategies and methods and approaches for barrier analysis.
  • Have the ability to analyze data and problem solve.
  • Possess effective verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have the ability to interface effectively with clinicians.
  • Have proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Provide documentation of full COVID-19 vaccination or documentation requesting a reasonable exemption for medical or religious reasons.
  • Have proof of legal right to work in the United States.

Ideally, you will (preferred):

  • Have prior quality management experience.
