Position Open – Lead Therapist
(Full-Time)
We’re looking for a full-time Lead Therapist (OT, PT, SLP) to be a vital member of our interdisciplinary Home Health and Hospice teams based in Evergreen, Colorado (located in the foothills only 20 miles from downtown Denver).
About the position
This position will:
- Provide direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy in the community.
- Support Manager of Therapy Services with departmental tasks as needed, provide coverage in their absence.
- Oversee the PTA program and assist with staffing/supervising the PTAs.
- Attend daily huddles and provide support for Intake to staff OT, PT and ST referrals.
- Assist in weekend staffing.
- Utilize reports to assist clinicians with documentation velocity.
- Orient new team members including shadowing, EMR, and skills check list.
- Run Case Management meetings utilizing MatrixCare MyAnalytics.
- Assist with QA tasks related to the therapy team.
- Audit charts for compliance.
- Work 5-10 hours a week, Monday – Friday.
- Have flexible hours with access to a full benefits package.
- Have a salary range of $43.00-$48.00/hour.
About you
You must (required):
- Have Physical Therapy (PT), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, Occupational Therapy (OT) or Speech Language Therapy (SLP) degree.
- Have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience.
- Maintain an active OT, PT or SLP license in the State of Colorado.
- Be a self-managed team member with strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Have a valid driver license, good driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle.
- Have proof of legal right to work in the United States.
Ideally, you will (preferred):
- Have experience in home health care or hospice.
