The 2010 benefit was held Saturday, Feb. 20, 6:00 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Country Club. The theme, "Gold Fever," commemorated the 150th anniversaries of Colorado's Gold Rush and the settling of the Evergreen area.
Our annual benefit began in 1986 and raised $12,000 in ticket sales that first year. Known as the Jazz Benefit early on, recent themes for this extravagant dinner, dance, and silent auction event include: Tumbleweed Ball, Carnaval Brasil, and Back to Nature.
Funds raised by our annual benefit help Mt. Evans care for underinsured or uninsured patients as well as support numerous services provided by Mt. Evans, including grief counseling, transportation for patients to medical appointments, respite care for family caregivers, and Camp Comfort, a bereavement camp for children.
If you are interested in donating an item for our silent auction or volunteering for this annual event (there are many positions available from decorating to the silent auction committee to event staffing and beyond), please call us at 303-674-6400 or email us.
